Meet Fern, an almost 2-year-old ADGA Alpine doe who came to our farm late last spring. Despite her young age, she was a perfect addition to our herd. She quickly took the role of matriarch from Calypso, our aging eleven-year old goat who is now in ‘retirement’. Additionally, despite her young age and having no kids, she is one of our farm’s top milk givers, having gone into spontaneous lactation. However, once she has kids, we are sure this sweetheart will be a great mother!
